Bray has been bored with his 1st grade math curriculum. They don't make Z's curriculum at 1st grade level, so I tasked Z with teaching Bray from his book. Since the material is mostly review for Z, teaching his brother also helps him to understand it better.
It worked out fairly well, they worked on it for longer than they usually work on math.
Bray grasped much of the concept through the added manipulatives.
They at least stayed at it long enough for me to snap some pictures!
Approaches are constantly changing in this house. No two days are alike and that sort of makes me crazy and happy at the same time!
